You save 10%. We give 10%. The Smoking Pastor Project feeds the rest.
We make boards that capture every drop of what you cook. They feed thousands of families every month — by hand, from a food truck.
So we built this page to connect both crafts directly. No checkout add-on. No round-up app. A direct, monthly, hand-sent partnership.
Code CAUSE10 applies automatically. You save 10%, we give 10% — every order, every month.
Premium Burmese teak. Dual-slope juice-capture. Patented. The board you'd buy anyway — only now it feeds someone too.

We chose The Smoking Pastor Project because of the two people running it — and the way they show up.
Jordan grew up in Houston, raised on brisket. He's spent 21 years as a children's pastor at Church at the Crossing in Indianapolis. Kati, also a pastor, brings the operational backbone — the partnerships, the logistics, the people work that turns a food truck into a movement.
Together, with their three boys, they've turned faith, food, and family into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit feeding thousands of pounds of free meals every month — and crafting smiles, one bite at a time.
Food banks rarely receive fully cooked protein — and that's exactly what families need most. The Smoking Pastor Project is building toward becoming the largest producer of fully cooked, prepackaged protein for food pantries in America.
Pulled pork. Shredded chicken. Brisket. Sealed, fully cooked, ready-to-heat — arriving where canned goods and dry staples already do, but with real meat on the plate.
In August 2024, a donated $100,000 food trailer — the heart of the project's free-meal operation — was stolen from a church parking lot, 21 days after Jordan and Kati received it. Surveillance video captured the theft. The trailer was found gutted days later.
Instead of replacing it like-for-like, the Davises asked a harder question: what would do more good? The answer pointed beyond pop-up events — to the food pantries that rarely get protein. That pivot became the mission we're now proud to fund alongside them.

A growing circle of brands and pitmasters who back the mission — and we're proud to stand with them.
Every dollar below was sent by us, by hand, on behalf of customers who chose this partnership.
During the first six months, The True Board transfers a minimum of $50 each month — even when orders are quiet. Showing up matters.
The kitchen tool you'd buy anyway — now funding a mission you'd back anyway.
The flagship. 24" × 14" × 1.75" Burmese teak. Patented dual-slope captures every drop.
Shop Full Size · Save 10% →Apartment-sized. Same patent. Same craft. 18" × 12" × 1.5".
Shop Compact · Save 10% →Every order placed through this page with code CAUSE10 triggers two things: you save 10%, and we (The True Board) set aside 10% of your subtotal to send to The Smoking Pastor Project. On the 5th of every month, we export the discount report from our Shopify, calculate the total, and Matt — our co-founder — sends the transfer via Smoking Pastor's donation portal at aplos.com. We log every transfer publicly on this page in the counter above.
Two reasons. First, every Shopify donation app takes a cut — fees that should go to the mission, not to software. Second, manual means we own the relationship. We see the order. We do the math. We send the money. There's no middleman to misroute it.

No. CAUSE10 is non-stackable with any other discount code. This protects the partnership's economics so the 10% donation math always works cleanly.
No. This is a permanent partnership, not a campaign. We review it internally every quarter, but the code stays active.
